It's important to understand stress before we can effectively manage it
Thats why we going to talk about STRESS.
According to the scientists, there was two types of stress.
Eustress and Distress.
Eustress is positive stress. This is what a young teenager girls feel
every time when her lover/boyfriend coming to visit her and surprise her a bouquet of flowers
Eustress is also what people feel after doing their exercises in the gym.
Athletes people, feel stress to their muscles after their work out, they take a rest for a while just to relax their muscles. They need to relax their muscles to avoid injured, When injury happens, thats what they will feel the stress.
Distress is the negative side of stress.
You will feel headache or chest pain. you can't sleep and eat.
Distress is a kind of stress that may result of any kind of sickness.
like hypertension, sometimes you feel emotional breakdown.
What do we need to do to prevent stress and it will not become distress? Famous author and inspirational speaker, Dr. John Maxwell has the following suggestions:
Don't be overly sensitive to criticism.
Lets us believe that we can't please all people
Not all people will believe you even if you are a very noble for your intentions and motives.
So when you receive criticisms, take it constructively if the criticism is sensible.
If you think the criticism is not objective, don't mined it so you will not feel distress.
Don't take too much pride on your achievements.
if you feel very proud to your self is more prone to distress, because you need to b eareful all the things around you so that people will not criticizes you. achievements is not hinder us from growing and learning

While it is important to acknowledge your inadequacies,
it is helpful to focus on your strengths and capabilities.
One effective way of fighting distress is by counting our blessings -
the good things which life brings.
When we have grateful hearts,
we will always be reminded that we are too blessed to be stressed!
